Tragedy Struck Our Ranch
On a cold and dark night in January, there were three beloved LaMancha goats named Huey, Louie, and Chewy. They were a vital part of Sanctuary Stables’ therapy program, bringing joy and healing to countless individuals with mental disabilities. But on January 21st, tragedy struck when a pack of feral dogs brutally attacked the goats on the ranch.
When the attack happened, the team at Sanctuary Stables was devastated and didn’t know what to do. They knew that the injuries were severe, and the cost of treatment was unexpected and overwhelming. So they immediately called for the help of Temecula Creek veterinarians, who quickly came to the ranch to provide emergency medical attention for Huey, Louie, and Chewy.
Huey, in particular, had sustained the most blood loss and was thought to be dead when he was found. But with the help of the dedicated veterinarians from Temecula Creek, Huey, Louie, and Chewy began the long road to recovery. But the cost of their medical treatment was a heavy burden to bear.
That’s why we’re reaching out to you, our community, for help. Huey, Louie, and Chewy have been a part of our family for over four years, and they have touched so many lives. We cannot let their injuries go untreated. We are asking for your support to help cover the medical costs of these precious therapy animals.
We are a small, non-profit organization that relies on the generosity of individuals like you to continue our mission of providing Equine Assisted Therapy programs. Your donation, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping us ensure that Huey, Louie, and Chewy make a full recovery and can continue to bring joy and healing to those who need it most.
Please donate now and help us save our beloved therapy goats.
